What’s on tap for October

Hey there all.

I was going through my calendar, trying to figure out what my release schedule would be. It was really exciting to see what is coming up and what I am going to be working on.

I am doing the whole Inktober / Writetober this year, so I thought it would be fun to post the writeotober stories that I wrote last year also.

I think this year, I am going to just focus on writing and not worry about the “ink” bit. I started month with a comic strip about a character of mine called Hyde from an upcoming serial called The Dicks.

I’m turning my focus on just writing Hyde everyday, working on the Inktober prompts.

The other thing I am focusing on this month will be my “gothic poetry” that I wrote way back when. You got a taste of that already today with my poem, The Boy in the Rain. I wrote that and all the other poetry like it back when I was around 19 or 20. Many of that stuff has never seen the light of day.

It is very much inspired by Edgar Allan Poe, as I was (and am) a huge fan of his while I was growing up.

It will culminate to a serialized version of a 5 part poem I wrote called The Legend of Cartwayne Twain, that will take us into Halloween. Cartwayne is parts Poe and part Tim Burton. So, if you love those guys, this will be right up your alley.

I hope you enjoy all I have to offer you this month. Let me know what you think and what you would like to see more of.

Have a great October everybody.
